Thara BlooNahSay

I must update you on Thara BlooNahSay.  Remember him from the last article?  This poor man is not getting well yet.  Instead, his whole body is skinny, tight and shakey.  He is not the rohbust and healthy man he once was.  He feels better after taking Russian Steam Baths.  But he spends sleepless nights and is very depressed.  I told him to prayerfully read a chapter or two of Proverbs every day.  This exercises the mind to think and be filled with wonderful thoughts of God.  I hear his faithful wife reading the Bible to him at night.  But with all the special diet, all the prayers and treatments, this dear man tried to commit suicide yesterday!  His wife found him in the other room with a rope around his neck, she had providentially come to check on him while she was cooking the evening meal.  He is depressed and does not want to go on, feeling so heavy with no relief in sight.  Oh please pray for him, that if it is God’s will, he may be restored to teach once more at LKY and work for God.  Often young people sell themselves over to the deceits of the devil and partake of the forbidden things, not counting the cost.  Sin always reaps a reward.  Please count the cost to your body and soul before acting.  See the dear Saviour bending over you, the precious purchase of His blood in love and pity, ready to release you from the traps of the enemy.  Don’t realize too late and reap regrets the rest of your life.

On a happier note, WahNehPaw is in great health now and has no further occurances of joint pain.  I still give her the circulatory massage each evening and with proper diet and prayer her health is restored.  Praise the Lord.

I am not the only one praying at this school for the health and healing of these 2 dear people.  The older students have a prayer schedule.  They are organized in groups of 2 to pray one hour at a time.  All through the hours of the night there are students praying.  They pray for the 2 teachers mentioned above.  They also pray for school desks in the classrooms, as they sit on mats on the cement floor in all of their classes.  They pray also for tables and benches in the cafeteria so they can eat more comfortably.  I must tell you that they pray in the chapel.  I sleep in a small separate room at the back of the chapel with WahNehPaw.  Often I would walk through at night or early morning and find them kneeling in prayer or reading their Bibles.  Their concentration and earnestness is unmistakable, because they do not glance up or even check to see who is walking past them.  These students devotion to thier God and the earnestness of their petitions to Him has touched my heart.  May they see their prayers answered and may they never loose thier sweet connection to Jesus.
