BeTha
We visited BeTha, a 68 year old grandma who lives in BYT. She had fallen while I was in America, 2 months ago. She had excruciating pain in her left hip which radiated down her leg. She could not walk. It took her a long time to turn in a position that I could examine her and give her a shot. We prayed for her there in the corner of her small dark hut. I was not able to visit her for the next two days as I had wished, because our patient load was too great that first day, and the next day we went to another village. When we returned to visit her on the third day, she was well! She told us that she had been to 3 different hospitals while we were gone. One was a large hospital all the way into ChaingMa. X-rays and lots of medications were given, but no doctor during all that time had been able to help her or relieved the pain.
“Why is it,” she said in utter amazement, “That you come just one time and give me something and it works right away?! I am well!”
“Oh,” we answered her, “Did the other doctors pray for you when they treated you?”
“I am the Lord that health thee.” Exodus 15:26
